CLOUTIER Martin

Martin Cloutier, who holds a joint Ph.D. in Strategic Management and Applied Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is a full professor in the Department of Management and Technology at ESG UQAM. In the context of his research program, he is interested in technology assimilation and decision support technologies and group decision processes; general research methods and mixed methods; and design science approaches.

He is one of the coordinators of the collective work Les méthodes de recherche du DBA (Editions EMS). He has published some thirty scientific articles, many of which focus on the resolution of systemic problems in complex situations and make use of the principles of system dynamics or group concept mapping (GCD), and has coordinated four collective works. Professor Cloutier has initiated or led some twenty GCC projects in Canada and Europe (France, Germany, Luxembourg) in various fields, including: technological entrepreneurship, digital transformation of microenterprises, technology use, continuous improvement, technological market development, the bioeconomy, and economic value in health.
