Thierry Burger-Helmchen is a professor of management at the University of Strasbourg and a researcher at BETA (Bureau d’Économie Théorique et Appliquée – UMR CNRS 7522, INRAE) where he leads the research group on creativity and innovation.
His teaching and research focus on the economic analysis of the organization and strategies of innovative firms.
He is the author or co-author of several books such as “Management”, Vuibert, 2019; “Creative management of complex systems”, Wiley, 2018 or “Strategic management”: Economic fundamentals for managers”, De Boeck. He has published more than 40 articles in international academic journals.
He is a regular speaker at scientific conferences and corporate seminars on strategy and innovation issues.
He is editor-in-chief of the journals “Innovations” and “Journal of Innovation Economics and Management”. To date, he has supervised 7 theses, 4 HDR and 3 DBA.
